My friend and I always come here when we are hungover and want a cheap mill. we always get the Egg Rolls, Combo Wonton Soup, Pot Stickers, and Beef Chow Fun. Seems like they got new menus which were nice. They needed an upgrade. The table beside us had 14 people (A dreamforce event) which actually sparked our interest since its his birthday soon and we need a venue. Will be back.

I absolutely love this place! I had not gone in for years due to the pandemic and having a mild obsession with San Tung. When a friend recommended we check it out I was reminded of just how amazing the food was here. The time to go is definitely between 11am and 5pm when they are serving their lunch special as you will not be disappointed. The portions are MASSIVE! Rarely do I ever need to grab a to go box when dining out, but this is one of the very few places in San Francisco which consistently fills me up AND have left overs to spare. Also the prices for the lunch special are absolutely fantastic. You can be fully satisfied with a lunch that comes under $20. The lunch comes with your main a side of rice and soup. I usually get the fried rice for the extra price because it is truly great. Now that I am on the topic of food, the cuisine is delectable. My standard go to is the fried rice lunch special with sweet and sour pork. Let me tell you this is some of the best sweet and sour pork I have ever had. The pork is perfectly crisp and even with being doused in sauce remains crispy. The sauce itself is also a perfect balance of sweetness, as I feel some spots go over board on the sweet factor rendering it almost a porky dessert. The fried rice is also cooked to utter perfection as well. For the amount of times I have gone I have never had fried rice that was mushy as the grains of rice hold their firmness. The only downside I would say is the soup which rotates between an egg drop and sour soup. They are fine, but I prefer my soups to be a bit more salty. Other dishes I have tried are the broccoli beef, lemon chicken and orange chicken. All are very good, but that sweet and sour pork is the real star of the show. Their appetizers are similarly great and fairly priced especially their pan fried potstickers. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very pleasing. Red Jade never feels cramped and the tables are large and spacious. The service is also really great as well and FAST! My food has usually come out within about five or so minutes which just blows my mind for how quick they are. Definitely check this gem of a restaurant out!

I come to this quaint little restaurant all the time! Their weekday lunch special might be the best deal in the city, and it's good until 5:00, which is super convenient no matter what time in my day I have a craving. Everything I've tried here hits the spot. And the staff are extremely fast and attentive to you to the point where you're sat and fed within 10 minutes, it almost feels unreal. For $11 I can a massive helping of general Tso's chicken, a huge serving of rice, and a cup of soup, with complimentary tea and a sweet sesame pastry to finish the meal. Great food, for great prices? I almost can't believe such an establishment exists in San Francisco in 2024.

First time coming here. Street parking hard but we got lucky. The green onion pancake very good. Not greasy. They gave us complementary soup. My husband said a little spicy. I ordered chow fun. Waiter asked wet or dry? I've never been asked that. I assumed wet but I guess I got wrong one. It was ok. My husband ordered pork chops with fried rice. He enjoyed it!! Plates are big as well. Restaurant was nice and table and bathroom was clean. Try it out if you In the neighborhood

Great lunch options at a decent price. The portion sizes are very generous and also comes with a soup. The cashew chicken had good flavor. The servers were attentive and friendly. Went on a Friday at noon and was seated right away; food arrived promptly at the table after ordering. Will be back to try more dishes.
